Dr. Gustavo Alejandro Schmitt Breitkreitz
Dr. Schmitt graduated in Medicine from the National University of the Northeast (UNNE), Corrientes, Argentina, in 2007. He later moved to Spain, where he completed his specialist training in General Practice/Family Medicine in Barcelona in 2013.
Since 2014, Dr. Schmitt has been practising as a General Practitioner (GP) in Ireland, providing comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages. Throughout his career, he has worked in both routine general practice and urgent care settings, developing extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of both acute and chronic medical conditions. He is fully registered with the Irish Medical Council and is committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based, patient-centred care.
Dr. Schmitt has a particular interest in preventive medicine, longevity, performance medicine, metabolic health and lifestyle medicine. He is passionate about continuous professional development and regularly undertakes postgraduate training to stay at the forefront of the latest advances in General Practice and evidence-based strategies aimed at optimising long-term health, enhancing quality of life and preventing disease.
He believes that excellent healthcare extends beyond treating illness.
